You can stop at a moments notice not like knitting. I like it but haven’t finished any projects yet. When you come I will take you to a house that has lots of projects done.

I also have triple lens… So for that kind of stuff I put on readers with the greatest strength of my prescription… helps when lying down & watching tv too. Oh wait, I forgot. You guys dont watch the tube much do you?! Well anyway you get the idea…

I did latch hook rugs in hs, but never straight up hooking. I remain undecided…

It is a pretty deliberate process (probably why I gave it up!). I hope you received my rug hooks all safe and sound.

They have these large magnifying lenses that clip to the side of a desk. Jewelers use them, perhaps it would help?

I have the all over (bi) focals and I hate them. Well, hate might be too strong a word, but strong enough that when I go get more spex they will be more the traditional bi focals. Methinks.

Anyhoo… I’m liking the little baaahh I remember making (hooking) a rug -well, back in hs I did several- but one in particular that wound up in the possession of an aunt on my dad’s side. She contacted me years ago (after many, many years of no contact) and one of the things she told me was, she still had my rug. I wish I’d had the wherewithall to ask her to send me a picture of it. Maybe I still can. hmm… I liked the process (of hooking rugs) back then (created my own pattern, -abstract- )don’t know if I will now.

MMMMMM! Granita with heirloom toms and mozzerella sounds absolutely divine. I wish I could send some tomatoes from my garden to you. They are at their peak right now. I sent you a package today. Finally!

Good luck finding a butcher. In such a big city I find it hard to believe you couldn’t find a decent one. Happy searching!
